It is just about time for the July meeting of our Sensory Group. This month’s session will be held on July 24th.
This month’s sensory opportunities are all about textures! We will be exploring soft and smooth versus gritty and crunchy. We will be painting and searching for treasures that awaken the tactile system! Our snack will be jello, pudding and a variety of crunchy snacks such as crackers.
Please dress your child in clothes or a bathing suit that can get messy! We will be covered in paint and will probably hose off when we are all done! You may want to bring a towel and a change of clothes for the ride home.
The session will be directed by a speech therapist, an occupational therapist, and a therapy aid. We will start and end at 9 AM and 10:40 PM, respectively. The session will be help at 12600 N 113th Ave, Bldg A, Youngtown. If you are interested, please contact Amanda or Megan at 623-972-4033.
The Sensory Group will be held once a month, so if you cannot make this one please call and find out about the next date or check back with us for more details! See you there!
