Aspire Therapy is also offering Interactive Metronome (IM)  http://www.interactivemetronome.com

Interactive Metronome (IM) is a computer based technology that was developed to enhance motor panning, coordination and attention by combining rhythmic and movement treatment exercises to improve motor skills and learning. The program involves the use of a cutting-edge neurological assessment and treatment tool for children and adults which can improve motor planning and sequencing to help with increased learning, attention, motor planning, sensory integration and communication.

Karen Roessler, Occupational Therapist has experience working with both adults and children. She has spent the last five years working with our pediatric population at Aspire Therapy. Karen especially enjoys helping children organize sensory processing information such as touch, movement, sight and sound; thus preparing the child for further development in their social and motor skills.

Karen is trained in sound-based intervention therapy programs and is a certified Interactive Metronome (IM) therapist. She works out of our Carefree office and is able to offer these programs directly or on a consultation basis with another therapist and through home programming with families.

To learn more about these exciting programs, please contact Karen Roessler at our Carefree office or speak to your Occupational Therapist.
